The 2024 Plenary Session of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Industrial Machinery Electrical Systems was Successfully Held in Beijing

On January 8, 2025, the 2024 Plenary Meeting of the National Standardization Committee for Industrial Machinery Electrical Systems (SAC/TC231) and the Sixth Third Meeting of the Physical Equipment Control Subcommittee of the National Standardization Committee for Automation Systems and Integration (SAC/TC159/SC1) were held in Beijing.

The meeting was hosted by TC231, TC159/SC1, and the National Technical Standards Innovation Base. Attendees included Sun Xiaohui, Director of the Standardization and Technical Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation; Li Dongru, former Deputy Secretary-General of the China Machinery Industry Federation; Wang Moyang, Director of the Standardization Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation; and over 100 members, representatives, and invited experts from TC231 and TC159/SC1. Sun Xiaohui, Wang Moyang, and Li Dongru commended the work of TC231 and introduced the status of my country's standardization work and industry development trends. The meeting also reviewed the conclusions of the 2024 national standards review and examined six national standards and one industry standard.

At the meeting, Dr. Lucas Pang, CTO of INSPRO, was invited to share his experiences and insights on emerging industries participating in the formulation of IEEE international standards. He attracted keen attention from many experts attending the meeting, and after the meeting, he had in-depth discussions with the guests on how to leverage China's advantages in the process of international standard setting.
