INSPRO
BSF BIOCONVERSION SOLUTIONS
INSPRO aims to integrate insect-based bioconversion, industrial automation, climate control, digital twins, and AI technologies to provide a set of standardized and modularized turn-key solutions to effectively solve social issues such as the recycling of organic wastes and the shortage of protein supply.
Core Competences
Innovative Industrialized Insect-based
Bioconversion System
Leveraging GoogolTech's leading industrial automation and Industrial Internet of Things technologies, we can rapidly replicate and deploy our modularized and factory-prefabricated turn-key solution globally. With our solution, it is able to realize the green recycling of organic wastes, and produce sustainable economic benefits.
World-leading Insect Biotechnology and
Operation Management Team
The biotechnology team has more than 10 years of practical experiences on microbial pretreatment technology, superior breeding (not genetic modification), stable and large-scale egg production, industrialized rearing, nutrition demand analysis, disease prevention, and product deep processing.
Open Automation Systems
Using the cutting-edge IEC 61499 international standard to deeply integrate OT, CT, and IT technologies to realize the closed-loop of industrial Internet and edge computing.
Edge-Cloud Collaborative Computing
Leveraging heterogeneous edge-cloud computing architecture to support INSPRO's automation systems' rapid and iterative development.
High-Speed P2P Ring Networking
The gLink fieldbus technology is well applied to realize high-speed interconnection, real-time response, and synchronous control among field devices.
Panoramic 360°AR Inspection
The 360°AR sensing, video fusion, and 3D visualization technologies are integrated to realize the panoramic control and routine inspection of the system.
Government Regulation on Data
The government can monitor the data of environmental emissions, food waste reduction amount, and organic waste resource utilization rate in real time.
Carbon Footprint Accounting
The dynamic carbon footprint accounting model built for the BSF bioconversion process in facilities can help to reduce carbon emissions and achieve sustainable development.
INDUSTRIALIZED
BSF BIOCONVERSION
SYSTEM
Automated Lifecycle
Management
The first-principle modelling and dynamic simulation are carried out using digital twins technology to realize the system's dynamic lifecycle management. As a result, the system can automatically distribute, feed, and harvest the larvae without human intervention.
Independent Closed
Structure Design
By adopting independent closed structure design and rearing BSF in groups according to their growth characteristics, it is able to effectively shield the adverse effects of external changes on the rearing environment. Moreover, the full thermal insulation and vertical farming technologies can effectively increase the rearing area.
Automated
Climate Control
Based on BSFL's characteristics, by timely adjusting the climate controller's operations according to the accurately collected rearing parameters, including lighting, temperature, humidity, VOC, and so on, it is able to precisely maintain the optimal growth conditions for BSFL.
Harmless Treatment
In order to meet the environmental protection requirements, harmless treatments are conducted on the BSF bioconversion modules. In particular, a fresh air ventilation system is set up to uniformly collect, purify, and treat the exhaust gases generated in the rearing process to ensure BSFL's continuous and stable growth.
PILOT PROJECTS
INSPRO & GoogolTech
Industrialized Insect-based Bioconversion System Guangdong, China
GoogolTech is the 1st high-tech company in Asia Pacific region specializing in R&D, production, marketing, and support of motion controllers and controller-based systems. GoogolTech is one of the core shareholders of INSPRO. GoogolTech and INSPRO have reached a long-term strategic collaboration on the R&D of insect-based bioconversion systems. The two companies have jointly built a “Green Ecological Experimental Base” in the GoogolTech Park, where the latest industrial automation, climate control, and digital twins technologies have been applied to continuously and iteratively carry out R&D in artificial light sources for breeding, modularized system design, and AI-based rearing technologies.
INSPRO has established its first Greater Bay Area circular agriculture pilot project in the Dongguan City, which covers an area of 3.9 hectares and contains a BSF breeding center, a BSF bioconversion center, a product postharvest processing center, and a circular agriculture exhibition hall. Phase I of the pilot project can handle 20 tons of organic waste residue per day, while Phase II can achieve the maximum 50 tons/day treatment capability and produce over 3,600 tons of fresh BSFL. This pilot project also serves as the BSF hatchling supply center and export processing center for the Greater Bay Area markets.
